" Khan As'ad Basha " is the largest caravanserai (Khan" in the Old City of Damascus, Syria.  Covering an area of 2,500 square meters.  Situated along the Al-Buzuriyah Souq, it was build and named after As'ad Pasha Al-Azm, the governor or Damascus, in 1751-1752.  it has been described as one of the finest khans in Damascus and the most ambitious work of architecture in the city.
